Why did you choose to join Eagle?

Challenging yet fun projects.  Good project team members.

If you could choose anyone, who would you pick as your mentor?

My Grandma Donna Anderson. She has been in my life since I was born. She has strong faith and has worked hard her entire life. She is now 86 years old and still full of life and wonderful knowledge. She will lift you up on some of the hardest days and is a very loyal friend to others, kind spirit and loves her family with all of her heart. She is the person I strive to be.

Where is your favorite place to be?

I am simple….My favorite place to be is at home on my porch eating supper with my family and socializing with friends.

What did you want to be when you were growing up?

Meteorologist. I have always been afraid of thunderstorms, still hate them. So I thought learning all about them would help my fear.  Until I got deep into Science….I hated it. Science….never my thing. 😊 I have a design mind!

What is something you’ve learned this year?

2020—-CORONA VIRUS/COVID-19. This ever changing world right now is something we have all never experienced. I have learned a lot from it. One….I like working in the office. I don’t mind working from home now and then but I like to socialize too much and its easier to be in the office. Most importantly I have learned that its ok to be home though. It is slowed down my life a bit, less stress and going here and there. Its ok….we have had lots of fun family time doing things we often times cannot fit in as we are gone with kids in activities. Kids, they do like to spend time with just their family and the extra attention that we have had time to give them is something we all will remember forever. I can stay connected with my family and friends over technology and its ok, but I like to see them in person too. I have also learned that I really do like Corona Premier. HAHA   Ryan bought it as a joke one night and well…..we both are sipping on it more than we should be. With all that said….I still do miss going to some of my favorite shopping stores. I like to look at design items and see them in real scale and touch them…..that is hard to-do right now.

What’s a fun fact about you that may surprise us?

I am very much claustrophobic and have OCD bad….I hate clutter.  My house is nothing like my office….before I go to bed I have to have things all in order and looking good so in the morning the day starts off good.

How do you define success?

HAPPINESS. Happiness can be found in many things and we all measure it differently. Success to me is being happy in my day to day life.  It may not always mean the most money or the fanciest things.  To me its happy with where I am at in life. I love my job and the every changing things I do each day, no day is ever the same.  Who wants to go to work at a job they dread and feel successful? Success to me is also the love I have for my family and friends and the joy we share when we are all together.  I am very much a people person.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life what would it be?

Grilled Cheeseburgers & Chips with Salsa. (not always healthy but so good)

What three traits define you?

This is a hard question….. Think I will answer it simply.

1. FUN SPIRIT

2.  JOYFUL

3. ALWAYS WILLING TO LEND A HAND, LISTEN, OR HELP WHEN NEEDED

What is your favorite thing about working at Eagle?

I think I may have said this already …… I love my job, smile thinking about it. Not any day is ever the same and I couldn’t have done this job early in my career as over the years I have gained great knowledge though co-workers and industry professionals. I love the design challenges that come with each and every project and the opportunity to use my creative mind day to day. We have a great team of people that we work with and each day I continue to grow and learn new things in my career as well.
