What is your favorite thing about working at Eagle?
I love the flexibility offered. My family is my #1 priority and I love the fact that I can attend my kids events and be there for them when needed. My father passed away last year and I really appreciated the time they gave me to be with him while he was hospitalized and after he passed away.
I also enjoy the variety of duties that I have at my job. It makes every day a little different and never boring.
What is your favorite company or person to follow?
I don’t necessarily have a favorite person or company that I follow but sports in general would be my favorite. I follow several teams and coaches and always love to hear the coaches quotes and inspiring messages. I love to hear stories about the late Don Meyer or quotes that were from him.

I’m in a Hurry (And Don’t Know Why)
If you could learn to do something really well, what would it be?
Be athletic and graceful! Living in a house with all (and fairly athletic) boys, I get made fun of quite often. I would also love to learn how to cook really well.
What’s a fun fact about you that may surprise us?
Most people are surprised to learn that I grew up on a farm (which I absolutely loved) and that I am a grandmother to 3 with another on the way.
How do you define success?
Success can be so many different things. For me, it means being happy and satisfied with the result of one’s actions, whether that be with your schooling, employment or even cooking a new meal. As long as you are happy with the result, that’s all that matters. What might be a small feat for someone, might be a huge one for yourself and you need to credit yourself with that and be proud of that fact.
What is one thing you have yet to cross off your bucket list?
Visiting all 50 states. I had hoped to do it before I reached 50 but since that is coming up in the next year, that goal will need to be stretched out a bit further.
What have you gained from working at Eagle?
Further knowledge of the construction industry. I started working in construction in 1996 when I moved to Sioux Falls and have enjoyed it. After some time, you get to know the subcontractors better and start to form working relationships with them.
